Scripture Memory 2010 #6

Are you looking forward to spring break?  We are!  I don't have a lot of time this morning because I have a thousand things to do, but before I forgot I wanted to jump on here and do a Memory Verse.  I have been reading Beth Moore's new book So Long Insecurity and doing the discussion with the siestas.  If you have known me long, I know you are saying, "Thank You, Jesus!  It is about time!"  Yea, me too!  That, along with our ladies' Bible study, God is working.  This is one of the verses that came up, and I want it in my arsonal.

Isaiah 43:18-19
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."  (NIV)

The New Living Translation says that last part like this:  "I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home.  I will create rivers for them in the desert!"  I am in uncharted territory, so I am very grateful that God is making a pathway through my wilder-ness and providing refreshment along the way home where I can be the woman He created me to be.  I am looking forward to this new thing!  Do it, Lord!

Hope you have a great week!
