Pumpkin time!

This is my favorite pumpkin bread recipe because it is so easy! Amanda, at Baby Bangs, raved about these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that sound really good. And this recipe was the on the siesta site recently. Enjoy the season!

Pumpkin Bread

3 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
2/3 cup water
2 cups pumpkin (I use the little can and just add a tidge of applesauce to make the rest of the 2 cups.)

Mix all ingredients well. Place in 2 large loaf pans or 1 bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. (This must be for a bundt pan, because in loaf pans it doesn't seem to take this long--maybe an hour.)
