Romans 8:15-17
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear; but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.
This chapter starts with teaching about living in the Spirit with a new nature, and what you have your mind set on is important (v. 5-8). Then verses 15-17 kind of transition into a discussion of struggles and that life with God is worth it. You probably know verse 28...
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him...Then it concludes with this
35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:And that love is powerful! In Ephesians 3:16-21 Paul prayed that God would strengthen the believers to have the power to grasp and to know His love. Then according to that power at work in us, He can do immeasurably more than we can imagine!
"For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." (Ps. 44:22)
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I have a thousand things to do to prepare for the weekend, so this is short and sweet, but I needed to get my heart and mind set on these things today. I just love His Word!

If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing."
